6:30 p.m.
Featuring large colorful fish puppets, a scuba diving puppy dog, and
magic tricks. The show incorporates the theme of ocean/sea life, and
wait for the grand finale, producing live goldfish with the help of the audience members.

GENEALOGY - Beginners Research Seminar
9:30 a.m. - 1:00 p.m.

Genealogy is the process of learning about the lives of our ancestors. While the research will involve compiling lists of people, places, and dates, the total experience of learning about their daily lives can help broaden our knowledge about our ancestors. This seminar will be focused on helping family historians begin the process by filling out basic research forms such as Family Group Sheets and Pedigree Charts. We will discuss the steps involved in successful research. Participants are encouraged to bring information already collected about their family history.

Session One: 9:30-10:45am
Session Two: 11:00am-12:30pm

Surf’s up teens and tweens! “Drop In” this art class for some “Gnarly” fun as you create your own personalized surf board to hang in your room. Use samples and patterns that we provide or create your own by using paint in this “Off the top” class! Supplies are provided. Warning: Surf boards are for decoration only. Do not use at the beach or you will have a “Wipe Out.” Registration required.

Seminar will focus on Scandinavian research sources and techniques covering the 1800's. Discussion will cover sources both in the Scandinavia region as well as areas in the United States where many immigrants arrived and later settled.
